Lead IT operations, infrastructure, and digital innovation in Japan; align with global strategy, manage SAP and AI initiatives.This role encompasses application support, hands-on infrastructure management, and end-user support, while ensuring strategic IT alignment with headquarters and regional/global initiatives. Additionally, the IT Manager will drive the adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to support business transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Business Alignment
• Partner with local business stakeholders to understand priorities and ensure IT solutions are aligned with business strategy
• Serve as the liaison between HQ IT and the Japan business team, identifying gaps, defining solutions, and ensuring effective communication
• Contribute to IT strategy planning for Japan, ensuring alignment with global IT roadmaps
• Support rollouts and enhancements of SAP (FI/CO, SD, PS) and other enterprise applications, including CRM, SRM, and WMS
• Manage the local IT budget in coordination with HQ IT approvals
IT Operations & Infrastructure
• Lead and oversee IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, end-user computing, mobile devices, printers, phone systems, and backup/recovery systems
• Manage IT support staff and ensure high-quality day-to-day service for end users
• Provide backup support in case of staff absence
• Oversee firewall/VPN, security, and Microsoft Azure environment in compliance with IT security standards
AI & Digital Innovation
• Champion adoption of AI and automation technologies across Japan operations in line with global AI strategy
• Identify opportunities to use AI/ML for sales acceleration, profit growth, process optimization, predictive analytics, and IT service improvement
• Pilot and implement AI-enabled solutions
• Partner with global and regional IT teams to share innovation best practices and scale successful pilots
• Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and adoption of emerging technologies
Project & Vendor Management

- 必須

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Over 8 years of corporate IT experience, including at least 3 years in IT leadership
• Expertise in IT infrastructure and full application lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO or SD module required)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fully fluent in Japanese and English, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with US SOX IT compliance requirements
• Strong analytical, proactive, and independent problem-solving skills

• Experience managing Windows and Linux servers, firewalls, VPNs, and Azure environments
• Knowledge of SAP, CRM, WMS, and SRM systems
• IT Project Management and Change Management experience
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus for communicating with HQ
• Experience in AI/ML, data analytics, or digital innovation projects (e.g., automation, digital twin, RPA, AI-enabled IT service management)
• Awareness of cybersecurity and data governance issues related to AI deployment
