Lead facility operations, manage safety and budgets, coordinate with client and service teams, requiring bilingual skills, technical background, and strong leadership in dynamic settings.The Facility Manager / Key Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing facility management operations at client premises, including cleaning, technical support, reception, and other facility services. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for the client. The Facility Manager / Key Account Manager will lead the service supervisors and work closely with both the client and the local team to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained.
What you’ll do
• Lead a team of service supervisors with responsibility for shift planning, attendance management, holidays, overtime, sickness, and recruitment within their teams, while coordinating closely with the HR department on matters such as recruitment, onboarding of new joiners, and offboarding of leavers.
• Identify new sales opportunities with the assigned client, prepare and calculate price offers, and present and sell these to the client.
• Manage the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) agenda in cooperation with the HS&E Manager for the account, including conducting planned and unplanned inspections and ensuring adherence to HS&E regulations and standards.
• Responsible for managing and overseeing the budget for the entrusted operations.
• Prepare and deliver monthly presentations of operational and financial results to the Country Manager and the Global Account Management team.
• Identify and close gaps between actual and expected or budgeted financial and operational performance.
• Approve purchase orders for the entrusted account and participate in supplier evaluations conducted by the Procurement department.
• Managing quality inspections over the service provided and service quality KPIs as per customer contract
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of subordinates and promote a culture of communication and feedback throughout the account organization.
• Responsibility in ensuring that rules, guidelines are followed up on the entrusted account

• Experience in managing large teams of operations staff
• Fluent Japanese
• Very good English skills, in writing and speaking
• Technical education or equivalent
• Preferred experience from automotive industry on the position of production manager or maintenance manager
• Good MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.)
