■報告先と主な役割
本ポジションでは日本国内のFP＆A Directorにレポートし、関連する事業部門と連携しながら業務を進めます。ビジネスの中核に関わりながら、収益性の向上に貢献できるポジションです。

【業務内容詳細】
<Budget Cycle Management & Financial Controlling>
- Lead budget and forecast processes for the consumer division in coordination with local and global stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely P&L submissions through strong project coordination and financial planning.
- Serve as the key finance contact for global counterparts on Japan-related matters.
- Monitor financial KPIs and manage asset-related data (e.g., inventory, fixed assets) to support local leadership.
- Prepare and deliver financial content for internal and global management meetings.
- Drive ongoing improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
<Business Partnering>
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support both strategic decision-making and day-to-day operations.
- Conduct ad hoc financial modeling on initiatives such as new store investments, store-level profitability, commercial margin scenarios, and ROI analysis.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities to support business growth and performance improvement.
<Project Management>
- Support the implementation of new financial systems, including user testing and data validation.
- Act as the finance liaison for global and local projects impacting the business and finance operations.
<Reporting>
- Prepare regular sales and expense reports for internal business units.
- Create and deliver monthly and ad hoc reporting to senior finance leadership.

Academic / Professional Background
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, with working knowledge of IFRS and/or USGAAP
- Professional certifications such as CPA are highly valued but not mandatory
Work Experience
- More than 10 years of experience in FP&A analyst/manager at multinational companies
- Prior exposure to product-based, consumer-focused industries (e.g., retail, lifestyle, or consumer goods) is preferred
Required Competencies
- Native Japanese and fluent in English
- Self-starter, desire to learn and grow
- Hands on and attention to details
- Solid listening and communication skills
- Strong analytical and software skills (BI, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership and capacity to serve as a leader among peers
- Ability to manage relationships and expectations from the key stakeholders
- High degree of responsibility and personal integrity
