A well-known automotive company is looking for a Supply Chain Engineer.Responsibilities:
* Support purchasing activities, including price and contract negotiations with suppliers
* Plan and coordinate quality audits in collaboration with quality management
* Co-design and optimise supplier project management, quality, purchasing, procurement, and logistics processes
* Assist with procurement, logistics, and capacity planning to ensure timely deliveries
* Collaborate with internal departments, sites, and service providers
* Manage new supplier analysis, evaluation, and contract negotiations
* Address legal aspects with internal and external contacts and identify cost-saving opportunities
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in Technical Engineering or related supply chain fields
* More than 5 years of experience in project management, quality management, supply chain management, and purchasing in the automotive industry
* Proven experience working with global teams on international quality and purchasing processes
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Strong methodological skills in quality and project management
* Professional level Japanese and English
