A global financial services company is looking for an Accounting Manager.Responsibilities:
* Foster strong relationships with local FP&A, Legal, and global controllership teams
* Mentor and lead a team of financial professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration
* Oversee all financial accounting activities, including general accounting and financial reporting for the Risk and Insurance Services entities
* Manage internal controls to mitigate financial risk and drive process improvements
* Lead projects related to M&A, financial systems implementation, and automation
* Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement standardised financial reporting practices
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or economics
* 15-20 years of experience in controllership or finance function (multinational firm)
* More than 5 years of people management experience
* Proven experience in improving accounting and internal control processes
* Proficient in US and Japan GAAP regulations
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Possess a valid CPA or MBA qualification is ideal
* Native level Japanese; business level English
