A global renewable energy company is seeking a Director of Accounting.Responsibilities:
* Supervise the Accounting team, ensuring accurate monthly close and reporting
* Drive the financial planning process at both business unit and executive levels
* Manage profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet impacts
* Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies, overseeing group reporting requirements
* Facilitate communication with regional leaders, producing financial statements and variance analysis
* Lead the month-end close, consolidation, and internal reporting activities
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in accounting or similar
* More than 10 years of accounting leadership and public accounting experience
* Proven experience in team management within multi-national environments
* Proficient in Netsuite, Excel, and Access
* Familiarity with renewable energy industry is preferred
* Professional level Japanese; fluent level English
