A global manufacturing company is seeking an SCM Director.Responsibilities:
* Promote and enforce safety in the workplace and ensure EHS metrics are met
* Prepare region and country budgets, schedules, and other operations-related reports
* Develop detailed plans and actions to increase productivity while reducing operational costs
* Ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner
* Lead proactive inventory planning and ensure inventory levels are within guided limits
* Identify improvement areas and implement systems for efficiency improvement
* Lead and coordinate the Operations organisation across all its components in the Asia region
* Drive collaboration between the Operations team and other functions within the company
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in manufacturing, engineering, or related fields
* More than 10 years of Plant Manager experience
* More than 15 years of manufacturing experience
* Proven experience in managing operations within a global organisation across the Asia region
* Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean principles
* Skilled in lean manufacturing, safety, and quality practices
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Possess a valid MBA qualification
* Professional level Japanese and English
