Input and finalize shipment details in our internal transport management system, including carrier, vessel, and item descriptions.
Monitor and report on the operational performance of carriers and vendors, ensuring high data quality for timely and accurate customer reporting.
Coordinate with customer care teams, haulers, and carriers to facilitate the export of shipments and organize transport activities according to customer commitments.
Obtain necessary approvals for dangerous goods (DG) shipments.
Create files for consolidation containers, unless handled by dedicated planners.
Ensure that costs and revenues are recorded during shipment creation to promote cost awareness and efficiency, maximizing profitability.
Assist in resolving claims and disputes.
