A renowned beverage company is seeking a Sales Director.Responsibilities:
* Lead all global sales initiatives and collaborate with key stakeholders to shape long-term sales strategies
* Develop and manage a sales team to achieve short, medium, and long-term commercial goals
* Build relationships with distribution partners and high-profile accounts to expand market presence and drive sales
* Support the US team by providing resources and sharing best practices across markets
* Create and monitor annual sales plans and budgets, aligning with distributor goals
* Oversee sales data analysis, reporting, and tools to improve decision-making
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above
* Senior commercial leadership experience in spirits or luxury alcoholic beverages
* Proven success in managing distributor relationships and developing sales strategies
* Experience building and leading sales teams, including recruitment, mentoring, and training
* International sales experience in the whisky or drinks industry is a plus
* Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive commercial decisions
* Possess a valid MBA qualification is ideal
* Fluent level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English
