A leading hyperscale data centre provider is looking for a Procurement Manager.Responsibilities:
* Manage the procurement of various categories within the CAPEX domain
* Achieve efficiencies through bidding, negotiation and strategic initiatives
* Understand customer requirements to establish a robust procurement plan
* Work collaboratively with Category Managers to innovate within the procurement space
* Communicate expectations to internal teams and build positive relationships
* Facilitate compliance with the company's supplier qualification process
* Provide inputs to support Supply Chain's optimization of the logistics function
* Support the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Program through the development and scoring of supplier commercial performance KPIs
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, construction management, contract or cost management or business administration
* More than 5 years of experience in procurement-related work, contract negotiation, and bidding
* More than 3 years of experience in managing CAPEX categories (Data Centre space is preferred)
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of MS Office
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Proficient in English and Japanese
