A global eyewear company is looking for a Production Manager.Responsibilities:
* Manage the production process in line with group standards
* Ensure group standards are applied in the lab through clear PCPs
* Lead definitions of production flow rules in collaboration with other departments
* Contribute to lab performance by setting objectives for main KPIs and monitoring results
* Manage the production teams by planning staffing needs, assigning roles and responsibilities, conducting performance cycles and training staff
* Ensure a continuous improvement culture is developed and maintained within the team
* Take charge of Health & Safety by setting rules and systems that comply with local law and group rules
Requirements:
* More than 5 years of experience in production, industrial or lab facility; maintenance manager or engineering managers are welcome
* Understanding of processes; production, process, health and safety protocols, lean management
* Excellent people management skills
* Strong communication skills
* Fluent level Japanese and English
