A global chemical company is seeking an Agronomy and Trial Manager.Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development of digital tools by creating technical foundations for new functionalities
* Design and adapt agronomic models based on local trial results and collaborate with the global team
* Enhance existing digital tool functionalities through technical improvements
* Identify field trial locations and establish partnerships with farmers, cooperatives, and research institutions
* Coordinate trial logistics, including site selection and plot layout from planting to harvest
* Collect, validate, analyse, and summarise trial data
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in agronomy, agriculture, or crop science
* More than 5 years of experience in agronomy and trial management (digital agriculture context is a plus)
* Skilled in farming practices especially of rice cropping system in Japan
* Knowledge of digital solutions in agriculture
* Proficient in data analysis and statistical modelling techniques
* Business level Japanese and English
