A renowned global financial services firm is looking for a Head of LegalResponsibilities:
* Ensure the Legal Department operates effectively and identifies legal risks
* Delegate legal risk management tasks to external lawyers when appropriate
* Implement and maintain procedures and controls within the Legal Department and externally
* Provide legal policies, memoranda, and advice to support business development
* Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments through continuous education and legal watch
* Comply with internal and external legal standards and collaborate with regional and global Legal teams
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law or professional legal experience
* More than 10 years of experience in a corporate legal team or law firm
* Proven experience in problem-solving and legal risk management
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to function effectively within a global financial institution
* Native level Japanese; business level English
