A multinational machinery manufacturer is searching for a Business Development Manager.Responsibilities:
* Build relationships with main Japanese marine customers, shipyards, ship owners, technical and purchase managers and OEMs
* Propose and implement a cross-divisional marine business plan
* Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality quotations, sales follow-up and project execution
* Actively interact with Business Line Managers to maximise synergies on market knowledge, customer development, logistics, trainings, and systems
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in marine engineering is advantageous
* Experience in the Japanese marine business
* Knowledge of compressor technology and in particular marine applications is highly desirable
* Proven track record of delivering results in sales and marketing
* Possess a valid engineering qualification or equivalent experience
* Native level Japanese; proficient in English (Korean is a plus)
