A global chemical company is looking for an Export Control professional.Responsibilities:
* Secure import and export processes with operational excellence and a compliance culture aligned with company strategies
* Oversee customs and export control & sanctions compliance across assigned countries
* Manage day-to-day export control and customs operations, including regulatory analysis and manual compliance checks
* Secure compliance with customs regulations and monitor deviations to ensure operational excellence
* Create and maintain global, regional, and local frameworks for import and export operations
* Provide guidance on sanctions, embargoes, and licencing requirements in support of business activities
* Assist in the development and administration of company-wide trade and export control processes
* Lead business planning for import, export, and compliance initiatives
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in economics, law, international trade, supply chain, or similar (Post-master in Customs Law is a plus)
* More than 6 years of experience in Global Trade and customs operations
* Practical experience in coordination of global trade projects
* Prior experience in supply chain or export/import
* Experience in developing and delivering training programs
* Project management experience is desired
* Professional level Japanese; fluent level English
