A renowned data platform company is seeking a Presales Engineer.Responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services to customers
* Discuss equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers
* Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
* Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up after initial contact, and secure orders
* Research and modify products to meet customers' technical needs
* Provide troubleshooting assistance and recommend best practices for upgrades
Requirements:
* Practical experience in Linux
* Prior experience in Databases (NoSQL, Relational, Distributed, MPP)
* Strong coding skills in at least one language (Java, C/C++, Python, Go)
* Experience with databases (Aerospike, Yugabyte, MongoDB, Couchbase) is ideal
* Understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft, Google) is a plus
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
* Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, HBase, HDFS, Hive, Impala
* Background in networking, CPUs, SSDs, memory
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Fluent level Japanese and English
