A multinational manufacturing company is searching for a Sourcing Manager.Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead the organisation of the purchasing team
* Develop supplier base, performance, relationships and negotiations
* Create and update agreements with suppliers, maintain SAP Outline Agreements and supplier master data in relevant parts
* Lead, support, and participate in negotiations, secure supplier capacity and long-term forecasting
* Ensure quality, delivery, lead time and cost development and compliance of materials and services
* Contribute to the category action plan creation and its implementation
* Drive future supply demand in cooperation with the needed functions
* Execute, and support material, and services for cost budgeting and follow-up
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or economics
* More than 3 years of experience in sourcing
* Solid understanding of sourcing and supply management
* Good knowledge of industrial products and casting
* Background in SAP and ERP is advantageous
* Experience in projects and overseas production in a multinational company is desirable
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English (other languages are a plus)
