A global luxury goods company is looking for a Head of Procurement to lead the procurement function and establish best practices in local purchasing.Responsibilities:
* Manage and enforce procurement policies and guidelines in compliance with corporate standards
* Improve procurement processes and monitor their effectiveness
* Collaborate with Finance and Internal Control to ensure Purchase-to-Pay processes comply with regulations
* Maintain and manage Procurement dashboards and KPIs to drive performance
* Educate stakeholders on proper procurement processes through training and communication
* Develop procurement strategies for major categories, including retail fit-out, advertising, and general expenses
* Optimise sourcing strategies and participate in supplier selection processes
* Identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities within local and regional operations
* Lead major sourcing projects from RFP/tender to delivery
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure conflict-free partnerships and optimise performance
* Provide key statistics and analysis on procurement activities to senior management
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* 8-10 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain with a focus on indirect categories
* 3-5 years of people management experience
* Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management
* Skilled in MS Office Suite
* Excellent communication and project management skills
* Fluent level written and verbal English and Japanese
