A global engineering software company is looking for a Principal Presales CAE Engineer.Responsibilities:
* Work with Account Managers throughout the sales cycle from strategy planning to post-sales
* Deliver technical content to clients through presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations
* Build and sustain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for all technical activities
* Identify opportunities to displace competitors and expand product usage
* Communicate key customer requirements to product development teams to influence the roadmap
* Provide compelling product demonstrations and, when necessary, offer training on the company's solutions
* Stay updated on software releases and guide future product development
Requirements:
* Practical experience as a vendor in healthcare or life science industry
* Prior experience using commercial CAE tools within an engineering environment
* Hands on experience using company HyperWorks, OptiStruct, RADIOSS, or other CAE simulation software
* Previous experience with programming languages (TCL/Python or similar) is ideal
* Experience working in a software company in a Pre-sales role is a plus
* Familiarity with life science processes and standards
* Background with numerical solution techniques used in FEA
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Fluent level written and verbal Japanese; conversational level English
