A global supply chain solutions company is looking for a Solution Architect.Responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences
* Provide advice regarding industry best practices and process methodology
* Estimate effort for task-level implementation activities and recommend appropriate roles
* Assess business needs, integration complexity, and architecture constraints
* Facilitate integration discussions of product functionality and architecture
* Conduct business process analysis or design and lead deployment phases of projects
* Lead the project team to design and develop functional specifications
* Create and modify procedural and system documentation throughout the project
* Support the development and execution of test scripts to ensure software meets business objectives
* Provide level 2 non-technical support during the "go-live" period
* Verify system functionality and maintain data integrity
* Identify incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research
* More than 5 years of hands-on experience in planning solution
* Practical experience in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
* Experience in the SCM industry as a Project Manager or similar is a plus
* Knowledge of statistical algorithms and tactical planning on overall supply chain
* Understanding of Mfg. & retail business processes
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Possess a valid PMP certification is ideal
* Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English
