A global environmental services company is looking for an EHS Manager.Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies
* Collaborate with SQE, Production, and other departments on quality control and safety practices
* Implement company policies and goals in alignment with management and stakeholders
* Uphold company values and demonstrate expected behavioral traits
* Report to management as required
* Travel to various sites and customer locations as needed
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in chemistry, occupational safety, environmental science, or a relevant domain
* More than 5 years of experience in chemical, manufacturing industry
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Background in compliance management
* Prior background in storage handling, GHS labelling, and transport of dangerous goods
* Understanding of workplace safety and environmental legislative requirements
* Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.)
* Familiarity with NATA accreditation requirements and protocols
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Proficient in written and spoken Japanese and English
