A global financial institution is seeking an Event Specialist (AVP/VP).Responsibilities:
* Advise on event strategy and marketing initiatives in collaboration with business lines and regional teams
* Oversee events from planning to execution, including budget, technical arrangements, and staff management
* Lead project teams and drive growth within the local or regional events team
* Mitigate risks and adhere to enterprise control processes
* Collaborate with regional marketing relationship managers to enhance event impact
* Handle marketing deliverables such as local language websites and event collateral
Requirements:
* Experience in managing a team in a leadership role in a project setting
* Prior experience managing eternal client events (conferences, higher-end hospitality, virtual events, etc.
* Proven experience in a financial institution, hotel, large corporation, or within the MICE industry is ideal
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Native level Japanese; fluent level English
