A renowned international consumer goods company is seeking a Head of Ethics and Compliance.Responsibilities:
* Empower management, employees, and third parties to meet legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
* Assess risks, monitor compliance, test controls, and investigate potential non-compliance
* Promote a culture of compliance and encourage the reporting and resolution of issues
* Drive compliance initiatives across various program pillars, focusing on key legal and ethical areas
* Conduct integrated risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate E&C risks
* Develop and implement compliance policies, processes, and training initiatives
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in law, business, or a related field
* More than 10 years of experience as a compliance office or in-house counsel
* Experience in a regulated industry with various touchpoints with government authorities
* Prior experience managing and influencing change and overcoming adversity
* Proven experience managing and solving complex issues
* Understanding of compliance programs and subject matters
* Native level Japanese; business level English
