A global leader in contract research organisation (CRO) is seeking an Executive Director for Business Development.Responsibilities:
* Work closely with senior sales leaders on client selection strategy and account development plans
* Manage and develop a team of Account Executives, providing coaching and leadership
* Hire and develop talent for new and open territories
* Assign accounts, set territory sales goals, and ensure order delivery
* Facilitate negotiations on margin and pricing, both internally and externally
* Monitor team performance, operating expenses, and provide feedback and development plans
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in life science or business field (advanced degree is ideal)
* More than 10 years of sales or relevant experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors
* Proven experience in client retention, managing difficult situations, and leading client-facing teams
* Extensive global collaboration experience and strong customer orientation
* Advanced industry knowledge with direct interaction with mid-level and executive decision-makers
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Proficient in written and verbal English
