A global energy company is looking for a Controller.Responsibilities:
* Oversee monthly close process, including financial statement preparation and review
* Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
* Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring compliance and timely payments
* Handle monthly and annual tax requirements, including tax filings
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws
* Provide financial support to all departments to support company growth
* Track budgets and prepare financial management reports
* Design and implement internal control policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in accounting
* More than 10 years of accounting experience
* Experience in energy, construction, or the real estate industry is a plus
* Prior experience in an international company based in U.S.
* Knowledge of JGAAP
* Bilingual verbal and written Japanese and English
