A global chemical manufacturer is looking for a Senior Planner.Responsibilities:
* Create supply and demand plans using sales forecasts, historical data, market trends, and logistics factors
* Strengthen plans and collaborate with manufacturing sites, sales, and CX teams for seamless inventory flow
* Manage purchase orders and lead times to improve service and operational efficiency
* Conduct regular forecast and PSI reviews with Sales and CX teams
* Compile and report data for monthly S&OP meetings
* Oversee supply execution, including shipments, inventory plans, and safety measures
* Provide SKU rationalisation recommendations based on data analysis
* Engage with senior leads of cross-functional teams to drive optimisation and efficiency
* Supervise and align Planner's activities to ensure reliable supply processes
* Meet or exceed supply chain KPI targets and standardize best practices
* Maintain SAP operational capability for planning and data analysis
* Liaise with regional and global stakeholders for production and shipment activities
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in business, statistics, supply chain management, operations, etc. (Master's degree in business administration, finance, logistics, etc., is preferred)
* 4-6 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, supply chain management, production control, etc.
* More than 3 years of experience in MRP and ERP systems (SAP is ideal)
* Experience applying concepts of basic algebra or statistics
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Fluent level written and spoken Japanese and English
