A renowned logistics company is seeking a Senior Trade and Customs Consultant.Responsibilities:
* Lead delivery assignments and define tasks for resources, leveraging expertise where needed
* Drive competence in selected areas, ensuring efficient project execution and risk reduction
* Organise and execute business projects for clients based on defined requirements
* Provide expert advice across global teams as necessary
* Set direction, handle large projects, and achieve targets effectively
* Collect client business needs through various methods and analyse data to identify weaknesses and causes
* Formulate client-specific recommendations and present findings with practical advice
* Manage team financials and project budgets effectively
* Participate actively in three sales processes monthly
* Demonstrate competence growth in 2-3 interest areas
* Foster key consultant behaviours among junior colleagues and exceed customer requirements
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in business administration or related domain (MSc/MA in business is preferred)
* More than 10 years of experience in customs and trade compliance within private or public sectors
* Knowledge of APAC regional customers processes and practices
* Experience in consulting organisations is a plus
* Fluent level Japanese and English
