Reporting to the Head of Business Operations and Chief of Staff, this role will be responsible for driving forward long-range planning, business operations coordination, and change initiatives for Global Business Development team. While this role is global in scope, there will be a day-to-day focus on supporting the Business Development team in Japan as a special advisor.
This role will work closely with other colleagues within GBD’s global organization, ensuring the team has the necessary skills, tools, processes, and governance required to meet the company’s needs. These include but are not limited to cross-functional governance matters, priority alignment, data-driven process development, and reporting/KPI measurement in support of annual goals & objectives.

- 必須

・Education: Masters Degree required
・Experience :
6-8 years of experience in the life-sciences and/or consulting industry. Experience and an understanding of business development, strategy development & implementation, pharmaceutical development, and project management.
Experience at a top management and/or strategy consulting firm preferred.
Experience working across regions in a globally diverse, multinational company.

・Strong ability to simplify complex concepts & strategies through slides, telling a compelling story; extensive experience building c-suite, senior-management presentations.
・Demonstrated ability to develop strategy while also understanding how to translate strategy into action.
・Collaborative. Willing to engage in thoughtful discussion of best approach, listen to suggestions and advocate for their point of view.
・Strong project management, analytical and critical thinking skills. Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty.
・Strong Japanese and English language competency.
