An international travel accessories company is searching for a Sales Director.Responsibilities:
* Set short- and long-term objectives for Japan retail business
* Empower store leaders to develop market specific business plans
* Remain highly informed on regional environment trends including competitor landscape
* Support retail network expansion and all key elements of new store openings
* Make recommendations for store renovations, upgrades, and expansion
* Translate the company values and foster a collaborative culture
* Develop store management teams to deliver superior customer experiences in all stores
* Identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement within region
Requirements:
* More than 10 years of experience in retail with a focus on management and operations
* Practical experience in a leading network expansion and multi-door retail is ideal
* Prior product experience in luxury or high-end retail is a plus
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Strong sense of luxury market and diverse luxury consumer behaviours
* Ability and willingness to travel domestically and globally
* Native level Japanese; business level English
