An international technology company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel.Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance during regulatory changes, offering commercial support to business growth
* Offer legal advice on various matters including commercial, technology, and regulatory issues
* Negotiate and draft contracts, providing guidance on contract management
* Assist in developing and streamlining legal processes and procedures
* Manage external counsel effectively and efficiently
* Ensure adherence to board-mandated policies and procedures
* Provide periodic reports on material matters to Group General Counsel
* Collaborate with global legal team to enhance legal function's effectiveness and reputation
Requirements:
* Experience in corporate law (reputable law firm or in-house legal team)
* Prior post-qualification experience in Japan
* Background in various legal activities (contract drafting and negotiations)
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Possess valid mid-lawyer qualification
* Business level Japanese and English
