- An FP&A Accounting Manager position is now available at a global science-based solutions company. The chosen individual will prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, or financial reports. This is a hybrid setup role.

Global science-based solutions companyResponsibilities:
* Ensure accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data
* Handle monthly and yearly closing activities including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance
* Prepare J-GAAP financial statement and Local Tax returns (corporate tax & consumption tax)
* Review all accounting transactions
* Forecast cash flow and liquidity
* Act as a liaison between the company, government, and internal/external auditors in providing the required information
* Coordinate monthly performance management cycle, business forecast, actual analysis, and reporting activities
* Prepare presentation materials in business planning, strategic review meetings and monthly business reviews
* Control P&L for the market and divisions delivering insightful and actionable analysis
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above
* More than 10 years of experience in finance
* Practical experience in ERP system (SAP, JDE, Oracle etc.)
* Deep understanding of accounting process from monthly to fiscal closing, and from recognition of costs or inventories to cost centre management
* Skilled in MS Excel and PPT
* Experience with HFM (Hyperion Planning or EPM or other similar tools) is ideal
* Possess a valid U.S. CPA or Certified Tax Accountant qualification is a plus
* Native level Japanese (JLPT N1); fluent level English
