A Finance Director position is now available at a global workspace provider.Responsibilities:
* Spearhead financial reporting, budget analysis, and provide strategic financial counsel
* Supervise tax strategy implementation and compliance, including monitoring various tax filings
* Offer insightful financial analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making
* Manage organisational goals and ensure financial and legal adherence
* Develop and manage financial systems, including annual budgets, forecasts, and cash management strategies
* Ensure adherence to Japanese accounting and tax regulations
* Oversee preparation and submission of financial statements to relevant authorities
* Coordinate US GAAP and other audits, while driving business process enhancements
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics
* More than 8 years of experience in accounting, controlling, or financial management, including a role as Head of Finance, or a related role
* Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations both internationally and domestically
* Knowledge of financial and forecasting systems
* Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
* Possess a valid CFA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is a plus
* Fluent level Japanese and English
