A Finance Manager position is now available at a global biopharmaceutical company.Responsibilities:
* Distribute monthly management reporting package
* Aid in local capital budget preparation and associated analysis
* Manage headcount tracking and approval process
* Attend Joint Finance Committee meetings, ensuring compliance with agreements
* Collaborate with Treasury Liquidity on tasks like Japan cash forecasting
* Ensure compliance with corporate accounting requirements
* Coordinate with external auditors for smooth audit processes
* Assist external service provider in preparing annual statutory financial statements
* Support local SOX controls testing and internal audits
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in a business or quantitative field
* More than 7 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment with a US-listed public company or exposure through Big 4 service engagements
* Practical experience with SOX and developing, enhancing, and maintaining systems of internal control
* Deep understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, financial reporting and analysis, and compliance
* Knowledge of Oracle systems is ideal
* Possess a valid MBA or CFA qualification is a plus
* Fluent level Japanese and English
