A multinational medical devices organisation is looking to fill a Principal Accountant position.Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP
* Manage General Ledger and oversee Revenue accounting including revenue recognition, rebate accrual, and allowance
* Handle Inventory accounting and Tax accounting in partnership with Corporate HQ tax specialists
* Engage in M&A accounting
* Prepare and review supporting information for internal and external audits
* Liaise with Region and Corporate accounting teams as appropriate
* Lead SOX 404 compliance
* Drive Accounting process improvements
Requirements:
* More than 7 years of experience in accounting field with analysis and judgement
* Practical experience in financial reporting and internal control management
* Deep understanding of US GAAP, J-GAAP, J-Tax
* Strong accounting knowledge especially in revenue recognition and inventory management areas
* Excellent SAP and MS Office Suite skills
* Possess a valid USCPA or equivalent professional qualification (J-CPA is ideal)
* Proficient in English
