A global fashion and leather goods company is searching for a Finance Director.Responsibilities:
* Act as strategic business partner to the local management team as well as Paris HQ team
* Assess and evaluate performance of organisation with regards long term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts
* Provide insights and recommendation to both short-term and long-term growth plan of the brand in Japan
* Build and develop an efficient and effective Finance Department
* Champion of the company annual budget process
* Work with accounting team on preparing and presenting monthly and quarterly financial reports
* Initiative analysis to provide meaningful support and recommendations to company and HQ
* Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly finance statements
* Enhance and implement accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems
* Ensure that local operations comply with all tax and legal regulations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above
* More than 10 years of relevant work experiences in Finance function, with proven track record in finance and team management experiences with multinational retail company in Japan
* Familiarity with Japan legal and taxation regulations for Retail and Importation operations
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
* Possess a valid MBA background is a plus
* Business level English; fluent level Japanese is ideal
