A Compliance Director position is now available at a global pharmaceutical organisation.Responsibilities:
* Roll out and implement risk assessments
* Create and execute country-specific policies and tools
* Monitor implementation progress
* Provide audit support upon request
* Implement and escalate red flags for third party due diligence and management
* Supervise the implementation of incentives and disciplinary measures
* Analyse and remediate underlying misconduct
* Conduct ongoing reviews and facilitating continuous improvement
* Provide compliance champion training and oversight
* Chair local compliance committee meetings
Requirements:
* Practical experience in designing and implementing effective global compliance programs in highly regulated industries (healthcare industry is ideal)
* Prior experience in presenting to and advising senior leadership or Boards of Directors
* Experience in leading teams
* In-depth understanding of regulator expectations for company compliance programs, particularly U.S., U.K., and in-scope country regulators
* Knowledge of key compliance risk areas facing global companies in highly regulated industries (healthcare compliance, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, anti-trust, conflicts of interest, trade sanctions, and data privacy)
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Proficient in verbal and written English and Japanese
