A global financial services organisation is searching for a Head of Regulatory Conduct.Responsibilities:
* Regularly reassess operational risks inherent in the Regulatory Conduct sub-function and activities
* Establish strategic Regulatory Compliance (RC) standards and policies
* Oversee implementation and operational effectiveness of RC standards and policies across the organisation
* Develop and implement a consistent Regulatory Compliance risk management framework
* Manage relationships with regulators, ensuring timely reporting and disclosure of relevant information
* Oversee Whistleblowing and regulatory conduct related policies and frameworks
* Identify and analyse regulatory developments, advising Risk Stewards on these developments
Requirements:
* Practical experience as a senior leader in a complex organisation
* Strong knowledge of the external environments - regulatory, political, competitor and market
* Understanding of Compliance within a complex global organisation
* Conversant in dealing with regulatory authorities at a senior level
* Experience in dealing with and influencing internal and external senior stakeholders (ExCo members, Board, CEOs) and regulators
* Fluent level Japanese; proficient in English is ideal
