A multinational consumer goods company is looking for an Accounting Manager.Responsibilities:
* Supervise accounts receivables and accounts payables operations
* Safeguard and maintain assets of the organisation
* Coordinate month-end closing activities and report to APAC regional
* Ensure compliance with Minimum Controls Standard (MCS) for control activities
* Facilitate daily interaction with MGSS and Genpact to enhance transactional processing
* Complete year-end tax provision package according to USGAAP requirements
* Contribute to system and process improvement, participating in NGF workstreams
* Lead and develop the accounting team's talent
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in finance or accountancy
* More than 10 years of relevant experience
* 4-5 years of experience in Big 4 or medium size public accounting or audit firm
* Prior commercial experience in FMCG environment
* Experience in ERP system (Oracle and HFM/HPT is ideal)
* Background in financial controller or accounting manager position
* Knowledge of Japan and US GAAP reporting requirements
* Possess a valid professional accounting qualification or MBA
* Proficient in English and Japanese
