A multinational petroleum products manufacturer is looking for a Power Originator/ Business Development Lead.Responsibilities:
* Execute value-adding transactions within the Japanese power trading portfolio
* Oversee relationships with third-party entities engaged in Japanese power trading
* Handle all aspects of transaction development
* Exchange market information and pinpoint market opportunities with traders
* Foster strong relationships with trading teams and functions
* Uphold a culture of compliance and embody our values in behaviours
Requirements:
* 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Japanese power industry
* Practical experience in developing deep relationships with counterparties leading to repeat business
* Experience with existing network with Japanese power industry players (generators, retailers, customers, traders, banks, etc.)
* Understanding of trading strategies, energy commodity markets, and market characteristics
* Knowledge of energy contracts prevalent in the Japanese power market such as MSA (Master Sales Agreement)
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Fluent level Japanese
