A multinational hospitality company is looking for a Director of Finance.Responsibilities:
* Improve profits by estimating costs and explore new business opportunities
* Compile, analyse, and monitor actual sales against projections
* Analyse differences between actual and forecasted wages for efficient budget planning
* Identify underlying principles by breaking down data into parts
* Develop, execute, and implement new business plans creatively and practically
* Provide analytical support for cost-saving opportunities during budget reviews
* Implement appropriate controls to manage business risks
* Ensure a strong control environment to enhance operations and profitability
* Lead the development of an aligned annual business plan
* Offer ongoing analytical support by monitoring departmental sales
* Produce accurate forecasts for swift business adaptations
* Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes
* Conduct annual performance appraisals per standard procedures
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance and accounting
* 1-3 years of experience in the finance and accounting or related professional area
* Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
* Proficient in Japanese
