An E-Commerce Manager position is now available at a global household consumer products manufacturer.Responsibilities:
* Drive unit volume, sales revenue, and gross margin accountability
* Devise all strategy and planning for the marketplace aspect of the Direct business
* Establish sales targets for the marketplace facet of the Direct business
* Comprehend and optimise channel and category profitability utilising a margin tracker
* Offer recommendations for channel prioritisation to capitalise on gross margin opportunities
* Serve as the primary contact for channel leads regarding intra-channel hurdles
* Facilitate discussions and propel outcomes across cross-functional business units
Requirements:
* More than 10 years of sales experience with a consumer goods company trading on Japan's prominent ecommerce platforms (Rakuten, Yahoo Mall, etc.) in a role leading or supporting sales strategy planning
* Practical experience in senior level account negotiations
* Prior experience as people manager
* Proven experience in delivery of sales targets
* Deep knowledge of a strategic e-commerce ecosystem
* Understanding of P&L
* Background in sales or demand planning
* Native level Japanese; business level English
