A Social Art Director position is now available at a global advertising organisation.Responsibilities:
* Conceptualise and craft visual strategies for social media initiatives
* Guide the design and implementation of high-quality content across social platforms
* Ensure optimisation of all creative assets to meet each social platform's specifications
* Comprehend campaign objectives, target audience, messaging, and transform them into captivating visuals
* Evaluate global charter or campaign content, offering insights on the need for localisation
* Foster and uphold visual identity and brand uniformity across all social media channels
* Stay current with design trends, social media best practices, and platform advancements
* Craft mood boards, storyboards, prototypes, or design mock-ups to present visual concepts and ideas
* Oversee photo/video shoots and creative content production to ensure alignment with conceptualisation
* Review and give feedback on content produced by other team members
* Provide mentorship to junior designers, offering guidance, feedback, and support
* Spearhead and create visual/video production submissions for awards
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field
* More than 4 years of experience as an Art Director, Visual Designer, or a similar role, with track record of successful social campaigns and portfolio
* Deep knowledge of social media platforms
* Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
* Experience with photography or directing photoshoots is ideal
* Understanding of video editing, motion graphics, and animation pool is a plus
* Business level English and Japanese
