An international financial banking company is searching for an Electronic Trading and System Risk Compliance VP.Responsibilities:
* Provide effective guidance on electronic trading system risks
* Lead efforts to address regulatory changes impacting electronic trading systems
* Identify, document, and analyse internal loss events from system issues
* Review and document relevant external loss events
* Offer guidance on system incident reporting requirements
* Conduct compliance and operational risk assessments, incorporating external loss events
* Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance and operational risk controls
* Identify, report, and escalate compliance and operational risks around electronic trading systems
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* More than 8 years of experience in compliance or regulatory role or equivalent in technology
* Practical experience in equities, high frequency trading, algorithms, and direct market access technology infrastructure
* Prior leadership and management experience
* Knowledge of compliance change and operational risk
* Expertise with the regulatory and market structure framework of APAC and global technology
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
