Manage Geo merchandising strategy for assigned categories. Manage the day to day business of teamPRODUCT OBSESSION
• Demonstrate expertise of assigned categories and their management
STRATEGIC VISION
• Inform and implement brand strategies
• Offer input to the brand’s annual business plan
• Execution of the annual brand plan for assigned Gen/Cat for Japan
FINANCIAL ACCUMEN
• Participate in weekly and monthly financial and selling review meetings.
• Monitor and share competitor trends including pricing strategies for local markets
CONSUMER INSIGHT
• Expert on local socio, political and creative trends and ability to anticipate consumer behaviors and inform local and global brand responses.
ASSORTMENT PLANNING
• Create assortment strategy based on analysis of both our internal and competitor marketplace while considering global and local requirements.
• Develop seasonal brief that considers global brand direction and local request
• Presents assortments and product in internal line activation meetings.
• In conjunction with Planning, manage the assortment through its PLC

- 必須

• Merchandising experience; 2 - 3years
• Ability to create assortments that deliver on brand and financial targets
• In-depth knowledge of merchandising and design trends in the global and regional marketplace
• Ability to perform volume forecasting on a country level
• Excellent communication skills-including influencing and negotiation skills for both in Japanese and English
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• You have hands-on mentality, always ready to take on new challenge and finding new solutions to problems.
• Must be able to understand and manage all retail metrics through to the end of the product lifecycle
• Proficient in PowerPoint and on Excel
