A global education organisation is searching for a Director of Finance and Accounting.Responsibilities:
* Help in budgeting and financial reporting, income, expenses, and budget differences
* Manage cash flow, prepare cash forecasts, and oversee school spending patterns
* Administer and optimise the school's financial management system
* Oversee the school's financial records for audits and annual financial statements
* Maintain an accurate accounting and financial manual following legal compliance
* Ensure accounting systems adhere to relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
* More than 5 years of experience with and English-language based accounting system including practical accounting, process, system, and rules
* Practical experience of managing a financial accounting function, including audit work
* Experience in accounting systems
* Background in a related educational institution or an NGO is ideal
* Possess a valid certification in Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Bookkeeping level 2+ or US CPA designation is ideal
* Proficient in written and verbal English and Japanese
