An international financial services company is searching for a Private Side Compliance Officer.Responsibilities:
* Maintain code of conduct required by governing regulations
* Monitor changes in laws and regulations and communicate updates
* Develop and implement compliance program to ensure adherence to laws
* Manage regulatory and internal audits and escalate unresolved issues
* Assess risks and enhance internal control functions
* Review and approve new products for clients
Requirements:
* 5-7 years of compliance, legal, audit, or other control function experience in securities businesses
* Practical experience in M&A or capital markets transaction
* Prior work experience with global business partners and clients is a plus
* Bilingual level written and verbal Japanese and English
