Position Description:
The purpose of this role is to strategically plan, direct, and control all Human Resources activities of
Japan and Korea by partnering with Elanco business leaders in the Affiliates, and by aligning with the
global Elanco HR strategies and processes.
• This role is responsible for the total HR spectrum comprising recruitment, compensation &
benefits, labor relations, learning & development, and retention of employees.
• This role sits on the Elanco Japan Lead Team and reports to the Senior Director – Human
Resources, Asia Pacific

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences from a
reputable university.
• Minimum 8-10 years of HR experience; 4-5 years in a managerial role. International exposure
is an advantage. Ideally should have an established track record of significant HR exposure
and solid training in a leading multinational company.
• Prior working experience in the Life Sciences, FMCG and regulated industries with commercial
focus, or Labor Union exposure is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of local labor law, recruiting, compensation & benefits and organization
development philosophy and practice, along with HR professional ethics
