A large travel company is looking to hire a Terminal Manager.Responsibilities:
* Supervise facility management and passenger service teams ensure excellent customer services are delivered
* Define commercial requirements with the port development team to explore improvement opportunities
* Build trusted relationships with cruise lines, handling agents and associated business partners
* Control operational budgets based on forecasts
* Coordinate operations with relevant teams to ensure all ship calls are conducted smoothly
* Implement and enhance safety management systems in terminals
* Foster relationships with clients, regulatory bodies and related service providers
* Ensure terminal teams are proficient in the application of business continuity plan
* Oversee performance and take remedial action where needed
Requirements:
* Work experience in a high service level environment
* Prior experience in staff and security management
* Experience in providing highest levels of customer service
* Background in contract management and supplier liaison
* Good computer literacy and MS Office skills
* Demonstrated relationship-building skills
* Ability to oversee multiple complex projects across a range of services
* Valid work permit in Japan
* Fluent level written and verbal English and Japanese
