Partner closely with Country General Manager and functional leaders to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and create an engaging and productive work environment for all employees
Understand local market and external factors to the development of insights and to support business decisions.
Function as a trusted HR professional for both employees and management by playing the role of a coach towards people managers, and career/development towards employees.
Collaborate with CoEs and the wider APAC HR team to design and deliver the implementation of both HR and business programmes and initiatives in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Reward, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Performance Management and Change Management.
Manage overall talent acquisition efforts by partnering with the talent acquisition team to support talent requirements, prioritisation, and measuring progress against hiring plans

Proven experience in senior HR roles in multi-national, complex business environments
Experience to serve “retail business / organization” is desirable.
Ability to maintain trustful and effective relationship with external professionals (ex. lawyer, social insurance advisor, industrial doctor, building vendors, etc.)
Experience and knowledge of Japan legislation and policies, including first-hand knowledge of best practices with a track record of implementing successful initiatives
An individual who is comfortable operating at the highest levels as a strategic advisor with a point of view, rather than an “order taker”
Great leadership and relationship management that delivers results through effective teamwork
