This position is for a business LEADER with proven skills in leading global businesses to success in Japan.Strategy and Business Development
* Work with JP Leadership, GM and APAC to ensure JP alignment with business priorities
* Lead strategic planning
* Provide input, advice, leadership, support in Growth Strategies, Gross Margin Improvement, Sales Force Alignment
* Act as a "think tank" on BD opportunities
Commercial Operations
* Work with JP leadership team
* Lead Integrated Business Planning, Sales & Operations, Rolling 6Q LBE for Japan
Business Analytics and Market Intelligence
* Identify key business issues, hypothesize, collect data, analyze, and summarize conclusions
* Perform complex business and financial analyses
Product Portfolio Management
* Product Portfolio Roadmap with Marketing Team
* Represent Japan needs to Global
* Product launch strategies
Wholesaler Team Management
* Sell in, forecasting and inventory management
* Partner with Sales and Finance to create forecasting system between Sales, Wholesaler Team and Demand Management

Requirements
* Proven leader with 6+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry covering commercial, sales, and marketing
* High-energy, assertive, proactive, with high self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, action-oriented, good executive presence, and commitment to goals
* Outstanding strategic planning and analytical skills
* Innovative and creative - demonstrated ability to leverage consumer insights to identify and evaluate creative ideas, focusing on those that will create growth
* Exceptional English and Japanese, with the ability to build collaborative working relationships with all levels, the sales force, and customers
* Strong project management skills
Qualifications
* BA or BS in business or science/engineering required
* Strong knowledge of accounting, finance and statistics concepts
* Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
* Hands on experience of commercial operations/execution in Japan healthcare industry, ability to execute and drive initiatives
* Deep knowledge and understanding of Japanese healthcare system, regulations, promotional code and business custom and practices
* Strategy consulting background with relevant experience would be an advantage
